T20 World Cup: The forthcoming edition of the T20 World Cup 2022 tournament is just around the corner. It will be quite interesting to see which team will win the title this time around.

The tournament begins on October 16 and the summit clash is slated to be held on November 13. As many as 45 fixtures will be played throughout the tournament in Australia. 

Team India last won the title back in 2007, which was the inaugural edition. The Men in Blue won the maiden title under MS Dhoni’s leadership in South Africa. 

Meanwhile, in the latest development, India’s T20 World Cup-bound players have departed for Australia. India will play a couple of warm-up games before flying to Australia.

India will play their first warm-up game against the Aussies at The Gabba on October 17. After that, they will play their second warm-up game against the Black Caps on October 19 at the same venue.

1. Chetan Sakariya

Chetan Sakariya is one of the talented fast bowlers of the new era. As per a report by Sportstar, left arm paceman Chetan Sakariya will travel to Australia for the showpiece event.

Talking about the fast bowler’s role, he will extend his services as a net bowler. The left-arm paceman made his debut for Team India against Sri Lanka in 2021.

2. Mukesh Choudhary

Mukesh Choudhary bowled incredibly well for Chennai Super Kings in the last edition of the Indian Premier League. The left-arm medium-fast bowler took 16 wickets in 13 games in IPL 2022 season.

He is one of the fast bowlers who will travel with Team India for the marquee event in Australia. Choudhary is yet to make an international debut for Team India.

3. R Sai Kishore

The Gujarat Titans’ player Sai Kishore is also flying to Australia as a net bowler, according to Cricbuzz. Moreover, he will likely be one of the backup options too if the Indian cricket team needs.
